Justin Dewey

Hi! I'm Justin, a third-year mechanical engineering student at the University of Toronto, and the propulsion lead at UTAT. I lead 20+ students in the design, manufacturing, and testing of our newest regeneratively cooled rocket engine. For our previous engine, I designed the nozzle assembly, a custom valve, and a quick-disconnect arm.

When I'm not building rockets at school, I'm usually building rockets somewhere else. My latest project is a 5kN liquid bipropellant engine, where I designed the engine and all supporting components (DAQ, test stand). I also run my own CNC mill and lathe, and really enjoy the manufacturing aspect of engineering.
